Well drat, I guess it was too much to expect the fix to be that straight forward.
The computer isn't happy with bank two air/fuel ratio for some reason.
Again the fuel trim isn't showing a real imbalance between banks 1 & 2.
Will your device read the O2 sensors output???? If so, post their numbers & watch their switching speed, it should be fast & averaging around about 0.6 vots.
well decide to just change the driver side up stream o2 sensor and then i disconnected the neg battery cable to clear code. I'll drive it tomorrow and report back. Thanks for all the help.
If the passenger side O2 sensor has more than 75-100K miles on it, I'd seriously consider replacing it too, as they're normally replaced in pairs, as with age they get slow/lazy to sense/switch/feedback to the computer & it would like a balanced O2 sensor feedback from both cyl banks.
If you do decide to replace the passenger side O2 sensor, pull the battery B- cable before starting the job, to wipe the computers KAM, so it'll begin to build new fuel trim tables with the new O2 sensors input.
You might want to do the cold & warm idle computer relearn routene too, to avoid idle or driveability problems.
