Heater motors ?
In my 63 the fan blows either fast or slow, can I put a three position switch in place of the old two position switch, and will it operate the blower at three speeds? Or do I also have to find a different motor? Thanks

You will need to get a resistor to get the three speeds. I'm assuming that the motor for your year works the same was as the newer models. The motor itself is not limited to just two speeds. A resistor with multiple taps is used to get the number of speeds that you want. The newer vehicles I believe have four speeds. That would be three taps on the resistor and for full speed bypass the resistor. The resistor is usuall in the air flow of the fan. You could buy the resistor from a newer model and install it.
