Have codes Need advice
My 99 has a problem im trying to figure out. The truck idles but when you go to rev it up it takes forever then jumps on up. It just dont haveno power.
The codes im getting is po282, p1298, p1296, p1280.
I checked the filters in the fuel tank, changed oil, fuel, and air filters but still the samething. I pulled the icp plug and checked for oil in it but it was dry.
I leaning towards the cyl8 injector bad?
Any help would be great!

How rough does it idle? Have you tried to ohm the connector to check for a loose wire or out odd reading from an injector? Does it rev any better if you disconnect the ICP sensor?
One dead or unplugged injector will just give you a slight, but noticeable, miss at idle. One dead bank will rattle and shake the whole truck and the engine will sound awful.
Before I started throwing injectors at it, I'd pull the valve cover and see if all the injectors spit the same amount of oil at idle and check the UVCH connection. Unless of course you're looking for someone to tell you the only way to fix this is to put in some stage 1 injectors

I havent tryed to ohm the connector yet. The rev does the same when the icp is unplugged. The miss is just slightly noticable cant hardly tell it has on once its reved up. I will pull the valve cover off and check the connections.
For the stage 1's I just wish!
