2001 F-150 OBD code P1405, how do I fix?
The SES light came on in my 2001 F-150 yesterday, and I finally checked the code today, what I got is....
P1405- Differential pressure feedback sensor upstream hose off or plugged
Does this have something to do with the rear differential? Or something under the hood?
What is it and how do I fix it? Thanks.

Providing you want to learn and not just how to fix it,
the device is just below the master power brake cylinder.
It has two short hoses conneced to a stand pipe that comes up off the exhaust manifold and goes the the EGR valve.
One of the hoses is off or faulty as the code indicates.
The device is used to measure test results for testing the EGR system the computer does at various times during startup and drive cycles.
If your in luck, this is the only issue you have unless there are others behind it after this is fixed.

I found the unit and checked both hoses, one had a huge chunk missing. I changed it with a new piece of fuel line that I had laying around, and I then reset the code. Hopefully its fixed, thanks.
