Windshield washer not working

I have a 95 and my windshield washer doesn't work. The wipers work and when I push the button the wiper control module clicks. I have replaced it and it does the same thing. I have checked for voltage at the pump and there isn't any. I kind of think I got a bad module but wanted to check and see if anyone else has had this problem and fixed it.

Have you checked the line coming from the washer fluid reservoir to the washer?. Mine broke so atm i can't use the washers. My wipers are in good working order.

I can't remember what circuit the pump is on, does it have its own fuse or does it share the fuse with the wipers? Check it out, anyway.

Assuming the issue is electrical in nature, the fuse in question is fuse #2 in the dashboard fuse panel. It is a 30 amp fuse that runs the wipers AND the washer fluid pump. TO test the pump, check to see if you get battery voltage (approx. 12VDC) between the BLACK/WHITE wire on the pump motor in the washer reservoir and the frame of the truck. Obviously, you will have to have someone push the washer button to perform the test. If you get voltage but the pump doesn't run, well.... and if you don't get voltage the problem resides in the multi-function stalk. There is no relay for the washer pump motor.

On the other hand if you DO get the proper voltage at the wires in question, and you can hear the pump running, you might want to follow the suggestion already made to try cleaning or replacing the fluid line running from the pump to the nozzles in the cowl.

There's not really much other than wire between the Wiper Control Module and the washer pump. If you checked for voltage to the pump were you using the pump's ground or a common ground? If using the pump's ground, try measuring for voltage with respect to a known good ground. If you were using a known good ground, then try checking for voltage at pin 4 (Black/white tracer wire) at the Wiper Control Module when the washer is activated. If you have voltage at pin 4 but not at the pump, then you have an issue with the wiring between the module and the pump. If you don't have voltage at pin 4, then you're going to want to confirm you have a short circuit between pins 7 (Brown/white tracer) and 9 (Dark Blue/white tracer) at the module while the washer button is pressed. If you do, then your issue is likely the Wiper Control Module. If you do not, then the issue may be with the Multi-Function Switch or the wiring between it and the module.
