At least the skeeters are dead - now maybe I can stand to be outside! I set up a terrarium over the weekend because I found some good places online to order "Carniverous Plants" (Venus Fly Traps, and all of those kind of things). I plan to have at least the indoors "BUG UNFRIENDLY" by the end of next month. No more glue traps and such, just water them and grin!

I usually do better in the winter, you can always put on more clothes, but in the summer there's a limit to how far you can skinny down and once it gets over 98.6 degrees it's a losing game...

I'd like to put in a small cast iron wood burner somewhere in the main rooms here before much longer. Seems like we either pay out for air conditioning or throw money at heaters all year long around these parts. Maybe with a wood burning heater I can put a bandaid on my bleeding wallet, ya think?

Kero heaters are more expensive than they're worth anymore.

I have a buddy in east TN that has the wood burning system and its so much cheaper and works so much better. However, his system he doesnt have a shut off, so once it gets too hot inside, time to open the windows haha!

Morning bud! Yeah, finally got back from our "evacuation". There's an hour of my life I'll never get back! But, they want to pay me to sit around and do nothing, so be it! How's things in TN this fine morning?

Tn is good and starting to finally cool off. If we could have gotten some of that rain that went thru everywhere else, it would be better! HAHA

We've certainly have had plenty of rain this year. The Missouri river is really, really high again, they had a ton of rain up north over the weekend.
