Good news it is going to get better because it can't get worse.

Have a great day guys.

"The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair."

Afternoon everyone! I'm off today and spent all day (in between the brief showers---Yea!!! Rain!!!) cleaning up my truck. I washed it yesterday, and today, I waxed (or, rather, NuVinyl'ed) the truck, put ArmorAll on everything rubber/vinyl and straightened up the mess in the tool box. A very laid back, not-do-a-whole-lot type of day.

Neal, sorry to hear everything has snafu'd on ya....hope it got better as the day progressed.

My sarcastic side, when stuff gets bad, I shout out, "is that the best you got...." then I usually suggest something else that would just wrap it up in a little bow. Not only will I not give the devil his due, I can always come up with a worse situation, my life is quite colorful to say the least.
Got the tooth pulled, came with a warning, has to do with osteoporosis medications and bones, it may help bones fill in, but it hampers the healing of them in the process, dangerous to get teeth pulled when on the stuff. I've been upset with the fact I was to be on reclast, and have been getting put off on it, evidently it was gods intervention for this very thing, I have to put off getting it another month or so, to heal. Just food for thought with those of you with elderly family members with osteoporosis and teeth problems.
I made a big pot of potato soup, should be good to go eating it a few days, I'm a great cook/chef, had a terrific meal earlier this week, before having this done, timed perfect.
BTW, I'm so strange I brought the tooth home, I rule!

maples01 - Good trophy, a tooth. Feel young again ? Grade school project = put said tooth in a small glass of cola and let it set for a couple days. You can watch the tooth turn to powder in the bottom of the glass. << MAGIC ]] I've been working on a (field) rock retaining wall - filled it in yesterday - leveled the dirt off / seeded it this morning. Project done - next ?

Been digging post holes by hand today and yesterday. Playin' with the kids and enjoying a wekend without house guests. Been awhile.

I hope everybody has a good weekend.

Nah, gonna keep it, amazing how deep the roots run.
I don't put much thought in feeling young, I think more along the lines of being here another day, and pain management without drugs.
Need to get at the 73 Econoline, make it ready for me to get in and drive, but got HALO Reach from GameFly, gonna play it a while before returning it to cancel my subscription next month.
Gotta get the breach plug out of my Remington 700M, takes a screwdriver, but the widest I own is 5/16", it keeps trying to slip into the hole for the nipple adapter. I'm not sure if its factory, or part of the 209 primer kit, I bought it used, want it out, put a Remington kit in it's place to making cleaning simple by removing this problem. I bet the kit came with a special tool to get this damn thing out.

maples01 - Just a thought = a 1/4" drive set with the screw driver inserts. Most of them have the 'tips' ground like a gunsmiths tools, not tapered / parallel at the tip where they FIT tight / if you use the right size. OR get a bigger screw driver and "modify" it to fit. My Dremel makes a lot of "specialty" things.

Nope, there is a hole dead center, the screwdriver is drawn to it once you add pressure trying to turn it, need a 1/2" wide screwdriver or nothing at all, tried making one out of flat steel, didn't hold up, not treated.
