IPR socket/wrench size

I have found so many different answers as to what size is the IPR socket
Some say it's 36 mm. Others say that a 1-3/8 will fit others claim a 1-1/16

My turbo is off so a combination wrench will work but don't have one large enough to fit and need to buy one that fits well. I really don't want to buy a $60 IPR socket specific for this job.
I am also wondering if a crowfoot would do the trick able to torque it down to specs.
BTW where can I find the skinny on torque specs for the oil pump and related components? I am installing the one piece branch adapter upgrade and have no instructions.

I bought a 1-3/8 wrench and cut it in two so I could take turn the IPR enought to get it loose. Then I turned the rest of the way out by hand. Mine is a 2007.

I have a 36mm wrench that works fine. but I think it may really be a 35mm wich is very close to 1 3/8"
I can tell you that the icp sensor is 1 1/16" and not the ipr valve.

thanks for the info, when my Ford parts are in, I'll pick up a wrench to fit. Once they're this big they're more expensive so I don't want to make a mistake in the purchase or having to deal with a return.
Thank man.

I have an 1 3/8" at work that I use and works well. It is the box end cut off of the wrench so that I get a good grip on it (for those TIGHT ones!) and I have it notched out on one side so that when you go to slip it over the solenoid connector of the IPR, the notch is enough of a relief around the solenoid connector to enable the wrench to straighten out and slip on. Then you just break it loose and clock the solenoid as you remove. Then once you get past the outermost o-ring on the valve, the rest unscrews by hand.

The special sockets actually have a tendency to break on very tight vavles because they are very thin walled. I don't use the socket that often, but sometimes its easy to use if you have that right angle. Of course the International I6 engine has the same style of IPR solenoid and hex as the V8, so I interchange depending on application and whether or not is has an air compressor or other shenanigans in the way.
