This is the plastic tab on the end of a TV cable for a Ford AOD (see red arrow).
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o> Does anyone know of an aftermarket source for a replacement (just the tab). I read somewhere that a metal tab was available….along with the crimp on slug at the end of the cable, but no source was given.
<o></o> Mine is cracked on one side and Ford does not sell it. Only the entire cable was available at one time…and that has been discontinued.
<o></o> So….what about it…. guys, anyone know of the tab piece being available?
<o></o>
<o></o> Thanks,

The one from LoKar is identical. If you know the exact placement to put a crimp end on, you can get a garage door cable crimp at the hardware store. Once crimped it does not move.
