Tires wearing on the inside
I have a 2006 explorer LTD 4x4 with 107000 miles on it... The back tires are wearing out on the inside edge. I pull a trailer just about every weekend. When I look at the truck from the side or back you can see the tires are leaning in at the top. When I jack up the back of the truck from the hitch the wheels straighten up. I am wondering if I need new springs of the rear wheels aligned.

Any input will help.

Thank you

With that many miles, you should have a technician inspect the suspension. You may have worn components that are contributing to the problem, and it is possible the springs have some sag. The tech can check ride height to see if it is in spec.
When it comes time for the alignment, you can add weight to the cargo area to simulate trailer tongue load. You will have to estimate how much weight to add based on how often and how far you tow the trailer. If you tow 20 percent of the road miles, you may want to add 20 percent of the tongue load, for example. We have done this numerous times for customers at my dealership.
