From what i have heard, the tune needs to show up in your trucks OASIS report before the dealer can do it... Maybe someone here can confirm?

If you have'nt picked up or paid for the sleeve yet cancel it. You should'nt be paying that much for one. Do some looking around away from an RV store, I picked up mine for $11 at a trailer supply store.

It's not increasing capacity if you just stick a sleeve in there and use a 2" ball mount. I was reading online that people were having to grind down Reese 2.5's to make them fit.

There is no grinding needed if they get the correct adapter. I simply made mine from some 2.5" square tubing with 1/4" walls. Works like a charm!

You completely missed the point.

OASIS = On-Line Automotive Service Information System

It is a internal system used by Ford and its dealers to provide vehicle specific information and to keep track of its history...

The sleeve I got just had to have the powder coating removed. It would have gone in with the powder coating, but I'm not sure if I could have gotten it out. The metal is right, just too tight of a tolerance for thick paint. I paid $20, but found it at tractor supply for $10 a few days after.

Picked up my truck an hour ago around 6 PM CST.
No factory flash available at this time.

Fresh oil, full DEF and half an allen wrench removed from my tire though.

Wondering if the flash will update the driver information screen in any way. Will we get any new options? Like a "Regen in Process" screen? Any way to compare with the 400/800 trucks that are out there?

Regen notification would be great but since they gave that option to the 6.4 owners then took it away (so I've read), I just don't see Ford offering that again. What we need is a choice such as basic msg ctr and advanced msg ctr that the dealer can enable for us. Basic being standard setting.

I have the same truck except short box, my 5th wheel puts 2200 pounds in the bed, my truck barely squats. I wasn't looking for exact distance but it was about 1/2" maybe 3/4". It basically puts the helper spring in contact with the rubber pads but practically no compression at all.

DRW can put almost 6000lbs in the box.. 9000lb rear axle weight
3500 is just half.. shouldn't squat..
