I put an insert between the cover and the dipstick to shim it to easy access.

I see you have an extension of some type on the valve cover where you pour your oil in. Is that factory or did you by that somewhere? Mine is just the cap directly in the valve cover.

Very Nice install looks factory. Did you customize the pipes at all or just use boots to connect them?

Nice, looks like you used the 6.0 pipes. Why is it the hot side has a dent in it? mine does the same thing but mines from a 2000 SD

Nicely done. And nice headlights too (see my thread )
The dent in the hot side pipe looks like a factory SD 7.3 pipe (which needs to be dented to clear the power steering pump) flipped around.

Its from a SD, I bougth at the IH dealer.
Oil Fill Extension (Super Duty style, uses same cap
(Ford) 4C4Z-6783-AA (7.3L, 6” long)
(Ford) 3C3Z-6763-AA (6.0L, longer)
I dont have in hand the IH number.

I used a SD pipe to the drivers side, and the pipes thats comes with the 6.0 IC from a 2004 to fab the pass side and connect with boots as you see in the pics.
