Thanks! I've been gettin 11-12. I havent taken any long trips to see what she'll give me on the highway, but I didn't buy her for the good gas mileage! HAHA
You're right. Gotta respect a person who only talks when they got something important to say, wish I was like that...
Actually, I am just trying to stir the pot a little to get a little enthusiasm going in this chapter... some playful banter or whatever. End note, I am there to help too.
Hello all. Thanks for letting me in the Washington chapter. My dad raised me on Fords. My first car was a 36 ford 4 door sedan, from there it was all Ford trucks. I did have a rebelious stage in high school and bought a C---y, but dad had a talk with me and that never happened again. I currently have an 2000 Expedition and 79 F350 trailer special with 61,000 original miles.
Boomer, just a little FYI from experience regarding mileage.
My shop truck is an '02 F250 with the V10 and automatic, and it's lived its whole life thus far lugging an equipment trailer. Pulling weight anywhere between 6,600# and 11,200# it gets between 7.5-9 mpg. I'm not sure whether or not you tow, but I thought I might pass the info along.

I do expect a mileage drop when towing... I don't tow to often. Mostly my friends when there vehicles break down. I'm really not to concerned with mileage. Thanks for the info!

I kinda figured as much... if you have the V10 one would assume that you're more concerned with having power to move what you're hooked up to rather than burn as little fuel as possible doing it.
That said, I wish my shop truck was a 7.3 4x4 6 speed. This 3/4 ton, 2 wheel drive automatic truck just does not cut the mustard when trying to lug a trailer around to a construction site; or even a flat, open field.... especially in the winter. You can tell the CREW didn't have any say in what the new shop truck should've been when we bought this one. Oh well, gotta make it work 'til it poops out!
