..Too Bigred, weren't not bashing you, you got what was already handed on your plate, were trying to tell you things you could remove and add a little of something else to get that system running its peak where can really injoy it but its your call. You scored on some aftermarket equipment, let us help you tweek it a bit to get the full potential of a roaring mean machine.

Well for now it is going to stay on. Fall is coming and I will be hooking up my 36 ft Coachmen to it. If it pulls it over the mountain and gives me decent mileage and be more stable as good or better than my old truck I will be a happy camper!

I have the power elbow and Exhaust and big head waste gate, i would'nt trade it for anything, very well built stuff, i don't run banks tunes, Smokies man keep all the banks stuff and get a dp tuner or PHP. Also look and see if you have the Banks intercooler.

Save your money and keep the Banks Ottomind.
Banks has very good tuning that really works. I think it's funny that all of the "haterz" instantly tell someone to ditch the Banks products when in reality, there's absolutely nothing wrong with them.
The Ottomind is designed to be used with the Transcommand, so as long as you're happy with what the truck is doing and the mileage you're getting, stick with it. You're not going to get any better mileage or power with anyone else's tuning. The only thing that you may be missing out on is a better shifting strategy.
If you like the way it runs and drives, KEEP IT!!

You say you tune trucks at PHP. Tell me what YOU would charge me to do what his ottomind and transvestite command do. With your system, I can do so much more. So, based on your charges, tell me what YOU would pay for something like what Banks offers based on your current rates.

I can't. I'm not a supporter/vendor here and I am not pimping any products.
I was simply trying to explain to the OP that if he likes how the truck runs, then there's no reason to buy something else.

I wasted 3200$ on banks junk,and then I found this site. These guys know what they are talking about. Right now I don't have a single banks product on my truck. Some I sold most I gave away. The dp-tuner absolutely killed banks. Outstanding! Clay at riffraff diesel will set you up when you want to build a fun to drive truck with mpg's and hp. I trusted these guys and haven't been steered wrong yet.

I did the same thing for years with my truck. I had the Superchip and I thought there was nothing that could be better then that. Then I found FTE and went with the DP-TUNER. I have said and will say that there is a world of difference between the two. I helped a guy with a fuel leak a few months ago and he had the Banks 6 gun. He asked me to drive his truck to see what I thought about the power his truck now has. I told him that it does have more power then stock. When we got back to my house, I took him for a ride in my truck. I left the chip in 80e and took off. This guy liked to had a cow. He kept saying WOW, WOW, then I told him I still had 3 higher HP tunes then this one. I remember how I felt after installing the DP-TUNER and taking the truck out for the first time.

I don't know the difference in all the chips/tuners, but I know there is a difference in the off the shelf and custom tunes.

When I bought my truck it had the 6 gun with the banks 4 " exhaust already on it. Banks unit seem to make it go a little faster, but I wanted more control over the truck. So I went with a DP Tuner and the difference is night and day. The DP blows Banks out of the water. Just an FYI but if you like what you got then keep it.
