Monster Diesel Additive
Not sure if anyone has heard of this product but I decided to try it out after watching an episode of OCC. I got to say I've noticed a difference in power. Acceleration response seems much snappier and smoother.
Anyway, I've used Diesel Kleen in the past and it's a great product but so far I'm liking this stuff except for the price. Just curious if anyone else has used it with positive results. Here is the website: Monster Diesel

Monster Diesel has thier web site and they are located in Maryland. I purchase my diesel fuel at a Citgo in my area and they have Monster Diesel signs on thier diesel pumps. The station owner is adding Monster Diesel to his fuel supply for the next 6 months. My truck actually runs smoother with this stuff in the fuel. The station owner also sells Monster Diesel by the bottle for those who want it.

One more bit of information. When looking at the Spicer study in '07 and comparing lubricity improvements, the Monster stuff deosn;t hold a candle to a number of other options. I've charted them in the pic below, and you can see that the DK and Monster are sort of close in terms of "percent improvement" when added to the fuel, but there are several others which do MUCH MUCH better, and after all, it's really the lubricity that you need to be focusing on due to the long term effect it WILL have on your fuel system.
