Rear Axle ID
HI All, ive got an 02 F350 SD 7.3 SRW. I need to replace the rear axle bearings and need to purchase the axle nut socket however, i seem to be getting conflicting part numbers from the net. My axle tag id's it as
V 423 B 73 10 5 1m19
Is this a dana or a ford/Sterling 10.5? I thought it was Dana 60 but now im not so sure.

My Dana 80 has a code 4 88 VF81A BK.
When I had my bearing failing and taking gears with it, it took at least 5 specialist to figure out the code for correct one. The first shop called warehouse and got the kit with crush sleeve, that my differential doesn't have.
Finally I used Internet specialist in Las Vegas, what gave the best price and free (overnight) shipping to California. They sell on ebay as drivetrain_parts
