wow, the ignorance and just plain untruthfull statements that some people spooge from their mouths is mystifying. If people are afraid of the turbo chargers, they should be happy to know that those turbos will not see the '170,000 rpm' that they are capable of. There is this thing called a wastegate, see it bypasses exhaust when the compressor reaches a certain pressure ratio (boost). The measely 12 psi the EB operates on would probably render the turbos operating at roughly half their capable rpm, providing amazing durability.

FWIW, My friend runs an over the road tractor shop, and the majority of the turbos on the tractors run for upoward of 500,000 miles, and they are un wastegated monsters that regularly see 25+ psi. Somebody better quick tell them that they should go back to the old NA Cummins, it would be more reliable!

Besides, if you will be towing that often, you really should be in a f250/f350........but avoid the psd, as it has one of those turbo thingies on it........lol

I was just wondering when this forum went from being a friendly, helping site that respected others opinions to a place for wise asses to laugh at people that don't agree with them.

Count me out!!!

You need to get a thicker skin. Every forum that I am a member of is this way. That's the power of the Internet, People are more vocal with their opinions because they don't know the person and the guy isn't their to punch them out! Folks here are still helpful but when it comes to opinions we all have them.

Im still disapointed that the 6.2l isnt available in the FX4. I would buy a Lariet and get the 6.2l with it, but I hate the wood grain dash.

I think the EB engine is simply amazing, and I hope it tows like a mule. I have a 5.4l and absolutly love the low end power that it has compared to other manufactures.

But regardless, if im buying a 40-50k truck, I still want a V8. Its dumb and imature probably, but paying that much and having a v6 just will make me feel inferior somehow haha.

Im not sure what Im going to do as of latley in the truck department. I need a new one bad. I have flat worn out my 99. But Im going to have to make it last or buy a 04-08 to get my by untill i figure out how these new motors will pan out. Test drive them and see how i like each of them. Also give ford time to maybe offer the engine/trip package that i want.

Or dare i say Supercrew Raptor 6.2. 8k towing, thats enough towing for me. Muhahahahahaha
