turbo issue

I have 2005 Ford 250 diesel A few days ago I noticed it running sluggish and registered no turbo pressure. The turbo would then kick in and the truck would run fine. And then the turbo would not register. For an 1/2 hour trip this may occur four times I stille continue to drive it. I have 150K miles on the vehicle. Any thoughts? thanks
