Axle swap

I have a 96 psd f 250 with the front springs sagging, I was thinking since I have to swap the springs out that I might as well throw a dana 60 in there to. My question is will a superduty axle slide right in without cutting and welding the perches or would it be easier to just find the correct era axle. I found a great deal on a SD axle but havent had time to go do the measuring.
Thanks

Super duty axle won't work-you want one from a 97-older F350. They're an easy swap but hard to find and big$$$.

Use this link and get yourself set up with craigslist in the form of crazed list... You'll be able to search your whole state or region and find a good deal on a D60 from someone parting their truck... They are pretty plentiful here in Iowa if you know where to look!

crazedlist.org : search craigslist like a madman
