I am putting a fabtech 3.5 inch shackle lift in my truck here pretty quick, and am thinking of beefing the front springs up to handle my plow better. which do yo all think will be better and why? A set of add aleafs in the front or buying the x codes. If the x codes does anyone have a part number for them. I have had add aleafs in my 01 and was fine with the ride so I am not worried about that. thanks for your input in advance
Since your already doing the lift you will have plenty of height, I would go with x code springs as they will droop less with load of the plow. I have x codes with an 8.5' western pro plus and they hold it fine.
i dont have a diesel or plow but i hate my add a leaf in the front. ever since i installed it it slaps the factory leaf when you hit bumps or go over speed bumps and trust me i drive her like a grandma. im trying to save up for x-codes but since getting my 78 on the road its been kinda hard with buying lift kit parts for it
