The Ex I bought earlier this month is Aspen Green (XLT). From the online add I didn't think I would like it much, but in person it's a pretty cool color and really looks good with the chrome grille and bumper. I'm not much of a chrome guy but this combo does look sharp. Sorry no pics yet.
The family has nicknamed the buggy as "The Jolly Green Giant".
One 1200 mile vacation in it so far and everybody loves it! Should only get better as I add various goodies as time & budget allow.
The Aspen tree has very nice silvery/green colored leaves and it is a pretty nice color on a car or truck. From a distance the have a kind of chrome shimmer with a light breeze.
My 2003 Excursion was "Forest" (how I got my nickname) and it was Aspen Green. It was a limited and was all this color except for plastic trim on bottom of bumpers and on running boards. We bought it new and the paint looked very nice at 180,000 miles. I always thought the name was incorrect--it is more of a dark green than "Aspen". I wish the 2005 Limiteds were still available in this color--I would have shopped around for it.
