I just have a quick question on the expected fuel mileage of the 2010 6.4L , 3.55 limited slip axle, with 275/65R20E all terrain tires (4x4) might be.
I currently own a 04 F150 and there is a deal on a close out 2010 model at a dealer about 2 hrs from my house. With my trade in and all the rebates and a 6k discount from the dealer, I can get a F250 Lariat FX4, with quite a few bells and whistles, for about $33k. Sticker price was $58.5k
I'm just curious what I might be getting myself into. The plan is to purchase a travel trailer and eventually step up to a 5th wheel.

It sounds like a good plan to me. Thats how I bought mine - left over 2010. Its a fantastic truck and I don't think you'll be sorry you bought it.
If you are easy on the gas petal and avoid stop/go traffic/city driving you can get by with decent mileage. I will have a better number on mine after this next tank. I am going on a (small, at least to me) road trip this Saturday so I may be able to get a good number after I get back.
With the rebate and dealer discount (free liner too) I came to $10,650 off list. Plus my trade and down payment and I did about 50/50 - half down half financed - on my sale price.
I bought my 2009 king ranch the same way. Mileage unloaded is about 12-13 if you stay off the fast take offs. If you like to get on it it will stay on average 10-11. Loaded it will drop to 8-10 depending on the weight you are hauling.
Also depends on if u reprogram it. With reprograming I can get 13-14 range and get on it whenever I want to.
My hand calculated mileage came out to 15.84 this tank. That includes 3 separate battles with rush hour traffic (30-45 minutes each of stop and go along about 18 miles of freeway) and today's trip down to Southern Ohio. Half of the drive was freeway and the other half was nit-picking through hills, windy river roads, and about 20 miles "off-roading" on some super rural county roads (NOT paved...).
I filled up about half way through my freeway portion of the drive on the way home. I re-set my lie-o-meter and when I got back to the house it showed 16.2. The kicker - as soon as I hit the road after the fill-up my regen started. I don't know how long it lasted, but I got the 3 second or so warning message.
