7.3 WONT Start (Sometimes)
Just like I said my 2000 7.3 wont start sometimes. It wont even turn over. So I cross the studs on the Starter Relay on the passenger side wall with a screwdriver and it starts up. It will do this no mater what the weather is. I have bought 1 new relay from Advance Auto parts, still did it then I got 1 from ford and still same problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Dont know if these problems are related but sometimes when I start my truck up My TS flip chip will be on a diffrent setting than what I have it set on. I have to shut off the truck and restart it and repeat the process untill its on the right setting. I am Frustrated the guy (shop) I bought it from isnt helping me any.

Sounds like the solenoid is not getting the signal to start from the ignition, time to start looking for chaffed wires. Look towards the bottom of the steering column they have a tendency to chaffe there
