Overhead Compass Display

In my 04 Excursion, lately the compass direction goes away. The outline square is still there but no direction indicator in the center. Any ideas?

Ford Truck Parts - Full Warranty On All Ford Truck Parts Take a look. I used them and they were great. Of course there is a self fix on this forum, just use the search.

fuses or short....
mine did something similar... first said needed calibration, then went out...
got it fixed yesterday while in the shop for vac pump

didn't have time to speak to my mechanic, but suspect fuse...
