According to the Ford the SD F-250 and F-350 were not available with psd and 4.10 gears unless you bought a 350 dually.
I have a friend who claims his single wheel psd with six-speed has 4.10's from the factory is this true or does he not really know what he has?

Only gears for the SRW PSDs are the 3.73s. If he doens't believe you, tell him to crawl under the truck and look at the tag on the rear diff cover. Or, look at the axle code on the door jamg and coompare it to the chart in the SD FAQ section of the SD forum.

Thanks guys. I wasn't real worried about him he can think what he wants.
I was just interested in knowing if I could get a 99 or newer single wheel with 4.10's.
