2000 v-10 is slow!!!!!!!!!
i have a 2000 v10 stock with only diferent muffler and i just got out ran by my buddies stock 7.3 powerstroke deisel !!!!!!!!! i would start to pull away about 60mph and on but not by much? i need a tune and exhaust i guess to wake this thing up??

so many variables you havent listed..
configs of each truck...
but your V10 should easily ditch a 7.3... those trucks are plenty powerful but they accel. like a old locomotive..
do you have lift/big tires he doesnt ???

no mine is 4dr 2wd with 3:73 gears and his is 2wd extra cab long bed

the psd is also a 2000 with 3;73 gears all stock! besides gears what can i do to help the old v-10 out!!!!!

Wow that sound wrong for that engine
Our old 01 F250 V10 that burn lot oil than use gas. It acceleration to 5K rpm no problem.
You know that your V10 get more power if you rev to 5K rpm instead 3K rpm.
What last time you done tune up on that? Sound it due for now.
