i hav a 2004 f250 cc fx4 and im having problems with the a/c not cooling and the recycling air not working... when i put it on MAX a/c the blower slows down vs speeds up....it cools something but other times it hot....and when i put it on recycle i still have smells from the outside coming in as if it were just on a/c.....
I'm no expert on this system so maybe Cheezit or Mike will chime in.
The blower does not speed up when you (Max AC) recirculate. The blower motor will be in high position, outside air will be at full vaccume only allowing recirculated air through the system.
The heater control valve (if equipped) is at full vacuum, preventing the flow of hot coolant to the heater core.
The panel/defrost door vacuum control motor is at full vacuum and the panel/floor door vacuum control motor is at no vacuum position, directing airflow to the instrument panel A/C registers.
Lol I'm a dumb a$$... I looked under the pass side dash and found a walmart bag in the way of the flapper... So that problem is solved... Now the cooling of the ac... When I baby it it seems to get cooler but if I get on it it doesn't get cold... Andy ideas... And thanks a bunch Maxium
