Removing a lund sun visor

Hey FTE
There is a lund visor on my cab, and im not sure whether i want it to stay or go ...mostly i think i want it to go but at the same time i want it to stay so i dont have to fix all the holes around the windshield lol ..my question is, if i do decide to remove it, how would i go about getting rid of all the screw holes around the windshield?

I don't think Lund went out of business, they just discontinued the visors for dentside applications.

The proper way would be to weld up the holes , but silicone or the like would probaby suffice in the short run ......... I scored my lighted/moon visor off e-gay for ~$80 bucks, awhile back - one of my better score!

Well, the last time i removed a lund sun visor, it had 4 or 5 7/16 1 inch long lag screws in it going into the roof of a dudge, and underneath that was a s**t ton of rust above the windsheild...

That is precisely why I didn't put the new visor on Buford, and sold it. When we removed the old visor, the amount of rust made us have to completely replace the leading edge of my cab with all new metal. Simply put, I don't care how well you install those visors, they will eventually develop a leak, and they will eventually rust out the cab along the top of the windshield.

Granted, I liked the look of the visor, but I'm willing to forego the look for the piece of mind that my cab will remain rust free.
