I'm tired of rocks chewing my paint up.... Does anyone have any recommendations for mud flaps??? Pics would be appreciated.
I've got weathertech ones for front and rear they mount tight to the curves of the body much better than the husky's i had originally ordered. when i went to put them on i noticed that the husky's overlap the side of the fender which i did not like the idea of snow (as an example) hitting the flap making it rub the paint off the side of my truck... so id recommend weathertech
I bought the Ford OEM ones for my dually and love 'em...Do you want a molded set, or just flaps that hang straight?
I'm leaning towards molded, but I am undecided. I don't want to let these Nitto Terra Grapplers continue to throw rocks all over the paint so I'm trying to figure this out quick...
I'm driving around a 1000 miles per week right now and the paint is def starting to chip.

Height of the truck absolutely makes a difference. At stock height, my Husky flaps protected maybe the first 3/4 of the front doors. Now with a 2" leveling spacer, they protect maybe 1/3 of the front doors. Unless you intend to install massive mudflaps that practically drag the ground, rock chips are just part of the aggressive tire territory. Heck even the Michelins that came on my truck threw rocks something terrible.
A better investment would be to put 3M film on the bottom 3rd of the doors and bed. That is pretty much the only thing that is going to stop the rocks from taking a whack at your paint.
