need mud flaps...?

We have gotten 10" of snow already, and my 4x4 Lariat (2000) is not liking it too well. I currently do not have mud flaps, and the snow/ice builds up in ridiculous amounts on the nerf bars. I'd like to add 4 mud/splash guards. Aside from the dealer, where would be a good place to get some quality flaps? I somewhat like the look of the hard plastic ones, however I have to question there durability and their functionality. Has anyone added them to there rig here? If so, where did you get them? Is it possible to paint them to match if I go with the hard plastic type?
Also, do you know if you have to drill into the fender to install them? Or are they drill free?

I bought mine at Unique Vans in Alsip, IL. $80 for the 4 of them, they wanted an extra 40 to put them on. I think I can handle that myself. Yeah you have to drill into the fender. Don't know about the paint

What brand were they? I checked JCWhitney, there's didn't seem to bad in price in comparison to that. Just by the time they get here winter will be half over.

Well, they are part of my Christmas present from my dad so I am not entirely sure what brand they are, but if I were to take a guess I think I saw Huskeyliner? maybe.

I installed the Factory Ford ones on my truck. They fit great and really help.

I installed husky liner mud flaps. about $25-30 online a pair. They are paintable but my truck is black so I didn't. Look good, although they don't stick down far enough to stop snow from getting to my step. Although factory and others are not longer either. Would have to attach another piece under it to stop it all. But I like themeasy to install.

I have a set of diamond plated ones, and they work well and look really good, although I am not sure where they came from.
