Fuel line part number

I was wondering if the tube running from the fuel pump to the 2 barrel carb on my 302 would be the same as the tube on a 351 going to a 2 barrel? I can only find the one for a 351 in NPD and LMC. If not, could I run a hose to the carb from the fuel pump? I would do it securely, but wondered about safety. The fitting is gushing gas and I'm sure it has been crimped in a few places from being moved around over the years. Any suggestions from the gallery? Also, it is a 302 F100 with auto and air. Thanks, not just for answering my questions, but for all the ones I don't have to ask from searching. It is nearly ready for the lower body panels on the doors to patch the VERY small rusty places near the weep holes. Besides that, she is ready for sanding, primer and paint.

I don't think the 351 line will fit but not sure. As for running a hose fuel pump to carb DON'T DO IT!!!! Fire hazzard. Some states with vehicle inspection will not pass the vehicle.
It's very easy to fabricate a fuel line out of steel. Measure roughly how long the line is including bends and add a little to be sure. Go to the auto parts store and get a piece of 5/16" brake line the length (or longer) that you measured. This is annealed steel and is easy to bend to the contour you need. It is also double flare on each end. One end has a regular flare nut the other end will have a long nut. Cut the end right behind the long nut and remove the nut. Bend the fuel line to suit how you want to route it and trim the end if needed. As a detail, I'd use a flaring tool to put a little bulge on the carb end to help with the neoprene hose to the filter.
If you don't have one, a tubing bender (cheap or expensive) makes the job easier and more professional looking.

I knew I wasn't going to run a hose that far, but I did want opinions. Thanks for verifying a stupid thought. I will go get a small tube bender at Northern Hydraulic tomorrow and pick up a brake line. I was just wanting to take the easy/lazy way out I guess. If anyone else knows about the part number, I would still like to know for sure. The deck height is a little taller on a 351 so I guess that would keep it from being a perfect fit. I just wondered if anyone had had this issue before me. Thanks for the quick response Mike. I do appreciate it very much.

As far as a part number, Ford never sold fuel, brake or emission steel lines over the counter. Whenever you look up a line part number in the catalog there is no number just the notation to make up the part from bulk line. The same goes for flexible fuel, vacuum lines and certain wiring harnesses.

Thanks again for the added info. I'll just make my own like you suggested. That way I know it will fit for sure.
