SCT tuner problems need help
First I just want to say awsome web site. Now to the problem. I have an SCT with a custom tune, (xtreamstreet). The tune is on a 2005 F350 6.0L. It really halls *** when you get on it but when you get of the gas the boost drops to Zero and takes about 30sec. to come back. It does not matter what you do with the gas pedle during these 30sec. the boost stays at Zero. After about 30sec. the boost is back and everything is fine. This is the only tune that makes my truck do this. Any ideas ?

Does your boost go higher on this tune than any of the other tunes? Have you scanned it for codes? Have you talked to the person that wrote your tune (I'm guessing Innovative at this point?)?

Yep it is an Innovative tune. yes the boost does go higher with this tune 35psi vs 30 with the others. NO codes and i plan to talk to eric. I do also have egr and egr cooler delete and no kitty. thanks for your input. I'll take all i can get.

I have been doing some studding on my problem and so far I have come up with zero. I'll try to explane my problem from a diffrent angle. Maybe it will help. If I'm excellerating down a on ramp everything is ok, shes pulling hard and I've got good boost. After getting up to speed and I start to back off, the boost drops to zero and she start driving like a dog and the black smoke starts to role. Some times it seems to help get the boost back if I let up on the excelerator and then get back in it, but not always. Still no codes. Thanks for any help you can spair.

OK, I have told a FIB. I did a test this morning. I did a WOT test on all my tunes and the factory setup. Held WOT for 10sec. then lifted foot off the accelerator and then got back in it. The turbo goes flat no boost. After about 15 to 30 sec. it will come back. No codes. Sorry about the fib I never went wot with all my tunes only the one.

Mine did that same thing when I went to Colorado. I live in Oklahoma. Went up to crested butte and the closer I got to crested butte the lower my boost was. I was barely hitting 3 psi cruising and maybe 15 wot. I pulled over and checked everything for leaks but found nothing. Cool thing about it was my gas gauge wasn't moving either. Got 22 mpg on the way home.
