The PCM supplies a 5 vdc to the BP sensor (baro) so the sensor can send a signal back to the PCM so it knows your altitude. I was just wondering what the signal vdc would look like at sealevel. Or what the rang of the signal should be. Thanks
baro is normmally measured in pressure not voltage. but to awnser your question you can check the vref (not vdc as this implys 12v not 5v) aginst the volt reading of either the ebp or map with the key on and the engine off.
I really do appreciate all the help and feed back I have gotten. But I do disagree with the belief that vdc implies 12 volts. It simply means voltage direct currant. I also understand that a Barometer tells you atmospheric pressure. All I have is a Fluke Meter to test with so all I can look at is voltages. Thanks
