After watching that video, it seems to me that flipping that metal lid and making the adjustments to the box is easy when standing in the bed of an empty truck. IMO, things are not so easy standing next to the truck. Sometimes commercials can be misleading or illuminating depending what one sees. I much prefer the spring loaded tops that roll into a box located next to the cab. Those can be easily managed from the back of the truck.

1. How secure is the cover when completely closed if the bed door is locked? Since there is no track, is it easy to pull up the sides?
2. How water resistant is the Solid Fold when totally closed?

I have a new F-250 and am considering the Extang Solid Fold. TWO questions:
1. How secure is the cover when completely closed if the bed door is locked? Since there is no track, is it easy to pull up the sides?
2. How water resistant is the Solid Fold when totally closed?

well the fiance just ordered the birthday gift a few days ago and it should be here Monday or Tuesday. Ended up getting the access vanish cover. Apparently i forgot to tell her which one i wanted because i was disappointed on my birthday when i found out she hadn't even ordered it yet because she didnt' know which one i wanted.

I have the advantage Torza Top premier on my truck... I wanted a fold able top that was water proof and one that thieves needed more than knife to get into.... So far it has been great with no leaks...
