Whine / Whistle During Shift
I have a new '92 XLS EXPLORER that has a slight whining or whistling noise when shifting UP. Sometimes louder, sometimes quiter. Shifts OK. Test drove another and found same noise. Salesman said that is normal. My mechanic said it might be an exhaust noise or transmission pump noise. Should I be concerned?
