my 54 f100 biuld!

bought this truck back in feb/10 and just rushed it together to get some driving time on it, let me know what ya think.

this is what it looked like when i bought it and where i bought it lol

Looks great! What type paint did you use? hot rod flatz, PPG?

it was a ppg flat black, but i would never use again, didnt like the outcome of it, its more grey/black then a black! this winter it will be done over in a base clear with mat clear!!!

Well you did a great job man! I think it looks great. Hope to have mine done in about 5 or 6 months but you know how things get in the way. I'm set on painting mine in a single stage flat black so I can paint it myself and was curious what paint you had used. Again GREAT JOB!

thanks, it will be taken apart this winter just to do it all over again! lol

You satin black lovers should Google "John Deere Blitz Black". Cheap, extremely durable, easy to apply. It's gaining quite a following.

My thoughts exactly, been working on my 53 since '03 and am not that far along. Well, the last 2 1/2 years I have enjoyed driving it

thanks everyone its been alot of work but well worth it for the 3000+ miles we have but on it in the 4 months its been rolling down the road, oh and btw i live in ontario canada
