shoot out

we had a motor cycle gang shoot out about 5 miles from my house today!
Police swarm Arizona town after biker shootout - Yahoo! News
dps was flying around for several hours, I think they should have done some ammo drops until the shooting was over than arrest the survivor!

Bart, There have been several Hells Angel's in your area for several years now. Several from the East Coast. I have known that since the early 2000s. There are some businesses in Prescott & Chino Valley that are owned by H.A. members & have been for 10 years or so. I expect trouble in the Fallon-Fernley area on of these days. Northern Nevada has been H.A. territory for years & I see the Mongol's are starting to move into Fernley & Fallon. So far it has been peaceful.
Better stay low for awhile. This may not blow over right away. If it does be aware because at some point all hell could break out, when every body thinks it is over. One good thing is the bike gangs as a rule don't bother with the general public.

Yeah, I heard about that shooting. One would think that a person would rather do their shooting of other persons when the weather is a bit more pleasant than it has been here in the valley lately.

Remember it is much cooler in Bart's area than the Valley.

They have some other businesses. I did business back in 2000 with a shop that the owner was affiliated with the H.A. He & I became pretty friendly. He had a shop in Chino Valley & later moved it to Prescott Valley, but he & his family live in Paulson. My late brother-in-law & a good friend from up here were also H.A. associates.
I personally don't worry about the H.A. but some of these other clubs I'm not so sure about. In my drinking days I walked on the edge of the dark side. So I'm maybe a little more aware than the average person about these things.

Personally I just let them be. Like was said before, they leave the general public alone. For the most part, H.A. has been relatively quiet in AZ.

I think I know the bar your thinking of... it's right at the junction of AZ89 and the old highway 89A junction right? Google identifies it as Pinon Pines Bar and Grill. The Pine Cone Inn is south of Prescott just a bit down White Spar. It's kind of an upscale place (or wishes it were rather).
