Not sure how that is even remotely funny. One way or another, that comes out of your and my pockets. Not to mention, do you want to be the one with a family member who can't be rescued from an unfortunate situation because half the PD is sitting at the station with no transport?

I think the action and the response here are pretty juvenile.

"and one count of leaving the scene of an accident."

That was no accident.

You obviously have never ran up against a pure a$%^&*( cop in your life. Some things are worth paying for. What made it funny was he could have chose anything & he chose a tractor. Can you imagine the chase scene on the news? "The fugitive is speeding away at 7mph" Do I think the guy was right? Not in any way but I still think it's funny. He totally disabled the entire police force with a single move & a tractor.

No kidding! I would think it definitely intentional. If prosecutor I think I would drop that charge just because of the obvious hilarity in it.

We all have some entity we would love to extract pain upon. The bank that holds our mortgage, school system, local tax assessor, etc. We never act upon it. He drew blood for all of us.

There are bad apples in every bunch. It's still no excuse. It's easy to trade wrong for wrong, but it takes strong character to choose to and do right even when you've been wronged. This guy chose wrong--why celebrate it?

So are you saying you'd pay with your loved ones' lives to see a few wrecked cop cars? How big of you.

idk but I keep thinking of one of the police academy movies and how well this would have fit in with the script.

This is wrong on all levels but I damned near spit out my coffee while reading this piece. It isn't so much that the property was destroyed but the brazen act of doing it.

I am not going to get into a pissing match with you. We have opposing viewpoints. You also can not shame me into feeling any certain way. You obviously have never lived remote. You know, some place where reaction time to a 911 call is at least 2 hrs.

Do you hold the police in this completely harmless? Do you hold the U.S. completely harmless for Pearl Harbor? In both cases somebody with infinite wisdom decided to put all their eggs in 1 basket. At Pearl Harbor we decided to keep our entire fleet in a harbor with a single entrance/exit. The police keep their entire fleet in the same place? Did they not learn from Pearl Harbor?

Me? Veteran USMC. What would you like to discuss when it comes to paying for something with one's life? The man is one of the few real Americans left. "Don't Tread on Me" Yet he did tread on them

I have run across one of said cops, but i still do not see the funny in this one. That retarded scumbag that crushed so many emergency respondent vehicles needs to rot in a cell for a few years. Or let the local towns people show him what they think of his idiotic choice. Police respond to many different types of emergencies. They need to post a follow up to this on yahoo news and show how many and what type of emergency calls could not be answered because of one idiots childish choice.
