Fuel tank pressure??

Hey all, i have a 96 f250 7.5 with dual tanks, when 1 or both tanks are full and truck sits out in the HOT sun all day it pushes gas past the cap, is some sort of vent plugged or simply a bad cap(s)? it is ok in cooler temps, very annoying cause of the odor, not losing quantities of gas, just some dampness around cap(s) and fumes of course, when tank is run down its fine.and mpg is awesome any ideas??

thanks for the help

Fuel expands when it's hot......going to go somewhere.

Either try not to fill the tanks up to the fill hole...or burn some off each tank when you fill. Shouldnt be an issue with a 460....they like gasoline!

I would check to see if all the lines to your evap system are in good shape and not kinked. Maybe theres something wrong with the canister purge solenoid, I would check that out.
