Anyone got a step by step on replacing brakes on an f250 4wheel disc w/ABS? Need to do the brakes on my 2001 and haven't done brakes in a long time. I got Hawks LTS pads and Wagner rotors. I know how to use the C clamp the on the calipers, but I know there are some components that should be cleaned and lubricated for reliable operation. Any help is appreciated, photos are better! While I'm under there I'm going to change out my vacuum lines to the hubs for my ESOF as I noticed they were dry rotting when I was putting on new shocks last weekend. I'll post more on that later as I think I'm in for an eventual hub rebuild. Saw two rings hanging from my axels, thinking that's the outer seal of the hub.
On a 4x4 it's simple. Simply remove your front wheels, get your 17mm wrench and remove the two bolts that secure the brake caliper to the bracket. Get a johnson bar and 21mm socket to remove the two bolts that secure the caliper bracket to the steering knuckle. Now use a hammer to knock off the front brake rotors. Clean the hub surface. Lubricate with anti-seize and install the new rotor to hub, securing it temporarily with two wheel nuts. Use the c-clamp and one old brake pad to compress the caliper pistons. The rest is pretty straight forward. Clean and lubricate the slider pins inside the caliper bracket with brake caliper slider grease.

Ahh, that's what I was unsure of, I didn't know where the slider pins were or what you lube them with. Also didn't know about the anti-seize between the rotor and hub surfaces. Thanks for the help!
