SuperDuty Coil Springs

Just wondering if anyone knows if the 4 wheel drive SuperDuty coils will work on OBS F-250 2wd? Just wanting to lift it up a little too clear my LT285-75-16 tires, I am running.

I was wondering about using them too for the same reason (leveling that is). I thought maybe get a set of F-350 4WD front and rear springs.

You mean the 05 and up coils? I would guess no. You know you can visit your local spring shop and they can have a set of coils made to your specs.

I don't know Mike, but I wouldn't hold my breath on the better ride part. My stock 2wd coils lasted about 275k before they started sagging so bad my tires looked like / \. I went to Ford and bought replacement coils with the same rating ( I ordered the truck with the heavy front springs for the snow plow package for my ranch hand bumper) and the brand new replacement springs lasted 50k until the front looked like / \ again and the I beams where hitting the bump stops. The springs were affordable, but obviously some cheap material that was worthless. I added a leveling kit after that to keep off the bump stops and I don't like the rattle that developed from the aluminum spacers. I talked to a local spring shop and went with Ford springs instead because they were cheaper. It would have been cheaper and a better ride in the long run to just have new springs made. I wish I would have done that. I may actually still do that, but I would recommend against going to Ford and buying any 99 - 03 2wd springs. They were worthless when I did that.

I can get some off of a 01 F250 for free that has less than 100k on it. The truck got hit hit in the back by a big rig. I have new springs from a spring shop that will rattle fillings out your teeth. The back rides good but the front is very soild when hitting bumps. The springs have no give at all when I hit a bump i swear the whole front end jumps off the ground

Well my teeth don't rattle, so maybe the SD springs would be an upgrade. I've never tried to compare the specs on the two. I'll measure mine if you'll measure yours. That should tell you if they would work.
