I got a check engine light today.
P050E, Exhaust Gas temp too low at start up.
Drove from Nashville to home w/trailer. Got 13.3 MPG (best so far @70 mph, give or take).
Took it to the diesel tech at my dealer, he needs to contact hotline, which was down until 5:30p today.
Code was tripped when engine was at idle and 114 degrees, urea was being injected for 3:14 minutes.
No driveability issues, just the light.
Waiting to see what hotline engineers say about it. All systems check out via diagnostic check. The tech. at my dealer does not really know why it's an issue if the EGT is too low when you start a cold engine other than the obvious incomplete burn of fuel maybe.
Any thoughts?

My tech also said that they have not really sent out manuals or complete tech/repair data for the 6.7 yet.
He did not have the new flash yet either, did'nt even know about it.
