Need muffler for '97 E350 v10
hi all,
I'm looking for a muffler to replace my seemingly original muffler. I am not looking for anything that is real loud, but when you step on it, she lets out a nice low growl
I've been looking at Magnaflow and Flowmaster. so far the ones I've heard the Magnaflow seems more to my liking. Just want to see what everyone else has/ recommends.

Remember, that the Magnaflow is stainless steel, the Flowmaster is not. I see no reason to pay so much for a Flowmaster that's going to rot out, except that the Magnaflow is known to drone after a few years because the packing they use deteriorates. But I'm willing to take that chance.

Yup, both are good for a only a few years - unless you live in a dry climate with no road salt - then the Flowmaster will last quite a bit longer.
I generally dislike the sound of FM's, but I am quite happy with the BB50 (BB is big block - the huge one) in my V10.
