I found a truck the other day in the local junkyard, and it had a pair of bucket seats, console and back carpet cover. I grabbed the seats, console, and seat brackets. There was no data plate on the door, so I'm not sure if it is a real ranger or not. My question is. is there a pair of brackets that attach the back carpet to the side door jam. This truck had brackets on each side where the carpet screwed to, to cover the gas tank on the sides. Are these original or homemade. They don't look homemade and if they are they are built pretty nice.
Ive been reviewing all the post and i am wanting to know how to make my external balance 460 mate to my 400m bell. Needing to know what flywheel i need?

Welcome to FTE
There are specific engine forums that a question like this should be typed in. You won't get too much help in the 1961/66 truck forum, because both these engines were not installed in trucks until 1973 (460), 1977 (400).
You should also type a new thread, instead of typing the question in this one, which has to do with interior parts of 1965/66 Rangers.

As Bluestang said they are indeed original and most likely this was a true Ranger.
What color are the seats?
There area few easy ways to tell if it was a ranger even if the door tag is missing. Something Ford did when they installed the Buckets you will not find on a truck that someone else added the seats to.
