If you live in a real harsh salt enviroment I would go with the Banks headers/y pipe assembly. The Banks are the most expensive set of headers out there but they are stainless and well built. I get into salt with my steel Thorleys and they do rust but I keep after them with header paint. The nice thing about the Thorleys is the Tri-y construction (more torque) and heavier 14 gauge tubes, all the other headers have 16 gauge tubes. The Hedman headers are steel also and they can be gotten for around $600.
Another option is to get a set of shorty headers and replace the necked down portion of the Y-pipe with a Y-pipe piece from SPD.
