steering wheel reclocking
just got my 01 ranger realined and the steering wheel is still off can i unbolt the rackinpinyen and reclock it that way or do i have to pull the air bag unblot the steering wheel and do it that way and if so how do i go about doing that

Take it back to the shop and tell them what the problem is. They should and can, fix it. If the alignment was done correctly the steering wheel won't be off. Not sure if you can reclock the steering shaft with the rack & pinion shaft. Some have a master spline that needs to be lined up to be assembled. This may also apply to reclocking the steering wheel on the column. Plus if you were able to do that, you may loose turning radius in one direction or the other, depending on which way you turn it. Try to work with the shop that did the alignment or find another one.
