Engine to Transmission plate
Hi, I am working on a 1996 Mazda B2300 with a 2.3l four cylinder and automatic transmission. I am in the process of installing a new engine. My problem is, I forgot which direction that plate between the transmission and engine goes. The only difference I can see is that there is a curved groove that goes around the rear seal of the crank. Should I flip this plate to where that curve is convex or concave toward the engine? Also, there is ford and a part number stamped on one side.
