hey ford guys i have a 2002 E350 its got a v10 and it runs great.... i just bought it a few days ago and went to get it smoged and it failed due to the drive cycle monitors being incomplete.its the heated o2, the o2 and the catalyst. i was told to drive it for 60 miles of so and i drove it for 180 miles ....and the monitors are still showing incomplete. is this normal? should i drive it more? it sat at the original owners house ffor 2 years but he said he drove it around a little just to keep thing chargerd and lubed. there is no check engine light on and like i said it runs great.....what do you all think....thanks in advance
If this doesn't quite make sense, you might post your question in the V-10 forum.
In a nutshell, the V-10 E350 is classed as a heavy duty vehicle and does not have all the OBDII monitors that the light duty vehicles do. If the smog guy didn't notice this, then he'll get all sorts of strange messages.
