not towing or hauling i just went down to 45 frt and 55 rear per the jamb sticker in my 03 EB v10. that combined with a steering box adjustment took a lot of the wander out. not all but a lot. might play with increasing it a bit assuming that my gas mileage may suffer a bit running "so low" at factory GAWR specs.

45 in front and 50 in rear. I called Nitto and asked them what they suggest for my application, I have Nitto Grappler A/T, and thats what they said to run.

check this out, do a search for the tire chalk test....

this tells you what the optimum psi is for YOUR truck and tire combo to give you the best contact patch....

May not be optimum for YOU, but it is for your truck weight and tire...

I run 75 - 80 psig for economy and load carrying ability.

Tire pressures can have a major role, but...The whole darn suspension is integrated. My opinion is that you SHOULD be able to boost your tire pressures (on quality tires) without introducing 'wander'. The "wander" issue is not one thing--it is all of them. I guess I have worked on about every aspect of my suspension and finally have the wander issue resolved.

I have: Michelin M/S2 tires (at 65K miles), new V/B springs with 2" blocks on rear axle and RAS added (at 68K miles). New Bilsteins at 68K miles. New ball joints (at 70K miles), Hellwig bar on rear suspension (72K miles), new red head steering gear (at 75K miles), new tie rod ends (80K), and a new track bar (80K).

The Ex now runs very true either solo or towing. Comfortable ride, too. This week, I towed an aluminum car trailer to Indiana and back. Up there with a 4000 lb car on it and back empty. The Ex handled very well and it was truly one hand on the steering wheel type of driving. Tire pressures were 75 psig all around.

Towed to Myrtle Beach a couple weeks ago with 75psi all around. Ran perfectly with no problems. I usually run 60-65psi all around at home. Trailer weighs 7800lbs empty. Probably closer to 9000 loaded.
