alignment issues
My 89 f150 has 3.5" lift and 35" tires. i noticed, very easily....that when i back into my driveway....the front tires have quite a bit of negative camber.
when driving forward...the wheels are straight.
what would cause this??
the truck drives straight as an arrow, but it sure looks bad if i back into a parking space.

If I am not mistaken it probably due to the fact that these trucks have I-beams and the camber changes quite a bit with suspension travel, so I am guessing that when you are backing up the front end is dipping down and causing the camber to go negative and then back to normal under standard driving conditions! my 92 150 is lifted and did the exact same thing, i took it to a tire shop and had them put in some "ball joint bushings" (they arent really bushings i dont think, theyre metal) i cant really tell you much about them cause i didnt really understand and didnt inquire much. but i had them put in and alligned, now theyre good.... but reguardless, lifted or not, when you back up youll usually have negative camber due to our front ends..but mine was excessive like what you described
